Why we built Suggesto.
We think buying online should feel less like searching and more like being helped. Suggesto is our attempt to put a great shop assistant on every Shopify storefront.
The problem
Most online stores show shoppers everything at once. Faced with dozens of similar products, people hesitate - and hesitation is where sales quietly slip away. In a good physical shop, an assistant asks a couple of questions and points you to the right thing. Online, that helpful conversation is usually missing.
What Suggesto does
Suggesto is a Shopify app that recreates that conversation as a short, branching quiz. A shopper answers a few questions, and Suggesto matches them to specific products in the store's catalog - turning a wall of options into one clear recommendation. It installs as an app, adds to the storefront with a theme block, and uses AI to tag the catalog so matching works from day one.
What we believe
- Helpful beats flashy. A recommendation is only worth making if it's genuinely a good fit.
- Merchants shouldn't need a developer. Going from install to a live quiz should take an afternoon, not a sprint.
- Honesty over hype. We'd rather show the real product than borrow credibility with numbers we haven't earned yet.

Suggesto is built on Shopify's platform and designed to feel at home in the admin you already use. It's early days, and we're building it in the open - if you have a question or an idea, we'd genuinely like to hear it.
